When the Gentle Giant "Storm",died on 28 May 2008, we lost a dear and loyal friend. Storm was my daughter Jo's dog, but had been very much a part of all our family for most of his life. He was |
| Remembering a dear friend who is sadly missed |
| indeed a great gentleman, and a very brave and courageous dog. He was so kind and gentle with my grandson Mitchell and with the Mini Foxie Pups, and he generously endured them, climbing all over him and hanging off his tail and his neck. But he was also a wonderful watchdog and we always felt very safe having Storm around. Where food was concerned Storm was lovingly called "garbage guts" because of his insatiable appetite, and he was quick to warn off the adult dogs from his meal, but would happily share with the puppies. Storm will be sadly missed, with his familiar whimsical grin, and long lolling tongue. But we are all the richer for having shared the life of this very proud and grand old man. RIP Storm - we love you and we will miss you. |
